BlairLouise.com is excited to announce the launch of its one of a kind lamps made from trees destroyed by April’s devastating tornados. Driving around the state after the horrible tornados and seeing all of the beautiful trees lying on the sides of the roads sparked an exciting idea for a “new meaning” for these trees.
BlairLouise owners & creators, Blair Newman & Weezie Boiles, boast about the quirky yet green feel of their website. Most of what you see on BlairLouise.com is made by them, a friend or family member. Blair & Weezie feel very strongly about having a purpose behind their work and are always looking for ways to give back. It only made sense to give life back to these trees and hopefully create a glow in the homes & hearts of all affected by the storms.
Each lamp is unique and designed around the character of the wood. It is very important that the flaws and roughness of the wood remain and work with the design of each lamp. Most of the lamps are created from Sycamore remains. The lamps signify the rebuilding and recovery from the tornados in April.
The lamps are typically $250 each, but can range between $175 to $400, depending on the size of the wood. Each lamp has a cottage type feel and would be perfect for any lake, beach or laid-back home. A portion from the sale of each lamp will be given to aid in the tornado recovery.
